Center for Families Fundraiser

Whole Foods Market 3313 University Ave., Madison, Wisconsin 53705
Whole Foods Market Madison is holding a Community Support Day for Center for Families (CFF), where five percent of one day’s sales will go to the local organization.
CFF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and leading local solution to building stronger families in Dane County. Their eight family-centered programs include home visit initiatives, school-readiness and early literacy efforts, support groups/workshops and a 24-hour respite/crisis service for children and their parents. The mission of CFF is to partner with parents in their efforts to nurture, protect and teach their children. For more information about CFF, visit: www.centerforfamilies.org.
Throughout the day, customers can interact with members of the organization while enjoying samples of family-focused recipes. The store will also be presenting a free movie screening of Jurassic Park on their patio at 7:30 p.m. with popcorn, refreshments and s’mores for the entire family (at a suggested donation to CFF). Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets.
Whole Foods Market holds Community Support Days four times a year, to the benefit of various local nonprofits. Organizations interested in applying for future Support Days can visit the store’s Community Giving page at www.wholefoodsmarket.com/service/community-giving-madison.
