From “In the Flesh” to “The Trial” with iconic songs such as “Another Brick in the Wall,” “Mother” and “Comfortably Numb” along for the musical flashback, Classic Albums Live performs every note, every song, every brick.
From the first drop of the needle onto the vinyl, Classic Albums Live recreates the sound and the feel of your favorite record album so well you might think you’re back in your paneled-wall living room or your teenage bedroom complete with a black light poster. Since 2003, the group has been using the world’s greatest musicians to faithfully recreate classic rock albums as they were originally recorded.
The Wall is the eleventh studio album by English rock band Pink Floyd, released Nov. 30, 1979. It is a rock opera that explores Pink, a jaded rock star, whose eventual self-imposed isolation from society is symbolized by a wall. The album was a commercial success, topping the US charts for 15 weeks and reaching number three in the UK. It initially received mixed reviews from critics, but later came to be considered one of the greatest albums of all time. Three singles were issued from the album: “Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2” (the band’s only US number-one single), “Run like Hell” and “Comfortably Numb.”
Group tickets available. Note: This performance may not be appropriate for young audiences due to content, length or atmosphere.
