press release: Camp - Clay Art + The Environment
July 8- July 12, 1:00-4:00pm at Arts + Literature Laboratory (2021 Winnebago St)
Join artist Brian Kluge for a week of artmaking with clay! Participants in this 5-day workshop will approach environmental issues through fun and engaging clay projects. Projects will include native seed-infused sculptures (unfired clay) as well as pottery inspired by earth, water, and air. Afternoon camps are for youth ages 10-14 years; half-day camps are $175 with options to add lunch supervision and morning open art studio sessions for a full day of artmaking. This camp has an additional $25 materials fee attached. Tuition assistance is available for families who demonstrate need; contact borealis@artlitlab.org for information prior to registering.
