Community Navigator Training

On Wednesday, July 20, The National Partnership for New Americans (NPNA) and Edgewood College are co-hosting a Community Navigator Training. Community Navigators are community members who receive specialized training to provide quality immigration services and take leadership in their communities in an empowering and effective way.
This training will discuss current administrative relief programs, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Legal Permanent Residents (DAPA), share the immigration organizing work happening from partner organizations in Wisconsin, and identify goals for 2016.
Educators working with Undocumented Youth will especially benefit from this training.
