Conservation Easements - Lunch and Learn
Join us for a free lunch and learn at the Sequoya Branch Library for the scoop on conservation easements. We hear it all the time - what is a conservation easement, and understand that it can be difficult to wrap your head around. Jim Welsh, Executive Director of Natural Heritage Land Trust will discuss the what, how and why - the important role of conservation easement in protecting local lands. You'll also hear from conservation-minded landowners who recently achieved their goal to protect their property with an easement and Mariana Weinhold, a long time Natural Heritage Land Trust member and board member who is dedicated to natural resource protection. Please bring your own lunch. Juice and cookies will be provided.
