Creative Imperatives

The School of Arts and Communication is pleased to announce that the third annual Creative

Imperatives Festival will be held Sunday February 28th through tuesday March 1st, 2016 on the UWL campus and in partner locations in Downtown La Crosse. This year’s festival, Curiosity

and Wonder: The Intersection of Art and Science, explores the fusion of arts and science and how they complement one another.  The three-day series of workshops, performances, exhibits and presentations will showcase five guests along with the work of UWL students, faculty and staff.  The Departments of Art, Communication Studies, Music and Theatre Arts are teaming up with colleagues and students from Biology, Mathematics, Psychology and the Office of Residential Life, among others, to bring this important perspective on the world around us to the La Crosse community.
