Join the celebration at Dane Dances! Enjoy free live music, dance lessons by Francis Medrano (5:30 and 7:30 p.m. weekly), and a healing dose of Madison culture. This year’s band lineup plays a diverse range of styles — Indian, disco, R&B, Latin, reggae, rock and more — to get everyone dancing. It all kicks off with an evening featuring sets by Madison’s own disco funkateers VO5 and traditional Indian music and beats by Sangamam. Find the full schedule at danedances.org.

Acker with Lee Acker Enterprises, LLC and Jason Ilstrup, President of Downtown Madison Inc will serve as Hosts on Friday. Join us for DJ Francis Medrano and FREE dance lessons starting at 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM every Friday in August. WHEELS & HEELS INC will present a brief adaptive/ariel dance before the first band on August 1. Come with LOVE, be PEACEFUL & enjoy your HAPPINESS. GET UP...GET DOWN...GET TOGETHER—that is the “MAGIC” of Dane Dances.

We are excited to celebrate another summer of free, family-friendly music, dance, and community. Each week offers a unique cultural showcase of local and regional bands.

- All bags will be checked by security (including food bags, coolers, and chair bags). Please be prepared to open and possibly remove contents.

- Contactless walk-thru security screenings will be in place. All attendees will pass through a metal detector or be screened with a handheld device. No weapons or alcohol allowed. Items may be returned to your vehicle or surrendered.
