Clarice Lafayette has been 6’ 0” since she was 11. She loves solitude and theater and when her cat Vinnie blesses her by laying on her back and purring loudly in her ear. She has a BA in Theatre Performance from Edgewood College. Most recently, she played Pamela in Encore Studio’s The Green Room where she also works as an Artistic Associate. Clarice just got done working with GreatWorks Theatre out of Chicago playing Hector in the musical Lyle the Crocodile and Jack in Fractured Fairy Tales. She currently voices Angelique the novitiate in the sardonic soap-opera podcast Lust for Life. In 2018 she was nominated for a Barty Award for her role as dominatrix Mistress Mona in Temps the Musical. This is her first Are We Delicious and she couldn’t be happier it’s the one about sex, although being in the one about the cyborg robot that methodically plotted to kill their creators would have been cool too. Clarice got into acting as a kid when her dad, camcorder in hand, would roundup all sixteen of her Irish Catholic cousins and make Frankenstein and Christmas Carol parodies.
Nick Kaprelian has been acting on Madison stages for the last 11 years with many theater companies. Favorite past roles include Preacher in Southern Baptist Sissies with Stage Q, Jean in Rhinoceros with Strollers, Paul in Dumpster Flower with Broom Street and Karl/Steve in Clybourne Park with Madison College.
Stacey Garbarski is a Chicago suburb native. She has been living and attending school in Madison, WI since 2011 and graduated with her degree in Theatre Arts in 2016 from Edgewood College. Her college career concluded with the production of Caucasian Chalk Circle (Azdak) directed by David Frank. In 2015 she was the recipient of the Dramatist Guild Award for Best Performance in a New Play or Musical at the American College Theatre Festival region 3, as a finalist in the Irene Ryan competition. Her first onstage credit for 2019 is Beautiful View by Maureen Janson Heintz She can be seen next in the premiere of Prom; written by Rob Matsushita, directed by Kathy Lynn Sliter and Isa Leigh. By day she works in animal welfare and all the cool things she's been privileged to do can be found at www.staceygarbarski.com. This is her 6th Delicious onstage and 10th in total.
Jordan Humpal - As a member of the Madison Community Theater since 2015, I couldn' be more excited to be in my first Are We Delicious production. With more emphasis in musical theater and dancing, I am ready to give it my all in the unique Are We Delicious pace and environment.
Kyle Baldauf is a UW-Madison Theatre and Drama alumni and has been acting in the Madison area since 2012. Previous roles include Melchior Gabor (Spring Awakening), Princeton/Rod (Avenue Q), and Joey Percival (Misalliance), among others. He can currently be seen as Father Dylan McHenry/Mister Slade in future episodes of the four-part series Lust for Life here at the Bartell Theatre. This is Kyle's first Are We Delicious? production, and he is excited for everyone to enjoy the show!
Dave Durbin has been a performer in the Madison theatre scene for the last sixteen years. Past performances include The Normal Heart for StageQ, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof for Strollers, Company for Stoughton Village Players, and Bare for Mercury/OUTcast theatre. This show marks his fifth appearance with the group.
