media release: Wisconsin singer and songwriter David HB Drake presents "Shorelines", a concert of songs from the Great Lakes and Wisconsin rivers, and the work songs of salt-water sailors. Authentic and historic sea shanties and fo-castle songs combine with original and contemporary songs by Gordon Bok, Tom Lewis, Gordon Lightfoot and Stan Rogers, performed on concertina, banjo, dulcimer, Native flute and guitar. The Wisconsin Area Music Industry named David "2002 Folk Artist of the Year".
David was the resident manager for Wisconsin's flagship, the schooner Denis Sullivan, in his home port of Milwaukee for over 25 years.
