Cafe Coda 1224 Williamson St., Madison, Wisconsin 53703
A message from Cafe Coda: We are very sorry to inform you that we will be temporarily closed for next week (beginning 3/16) until further notice. We have canceled all events for next week.
The events of the week of March 23 are on hold for now. Please keep an eye on our FB page for any updates!
We're very regretful for the inconvenience and hope we are doing what we can to "flatten the curve" and hope this difficult time will calm down soon!
(2018 pick) Dee Alexander, an acclaimed jazz vocalist from Chicago, sings beautifully and intuitively. It’s no wonder the Chicago Tribune called her “the face of jazz in Chicago” earlier this year. On tracks like “Letter From Home,” Alexander delivers funk-jazz grooves with some of her city’s finest players: bassist Junius Paul, percussionist Ernie Adams, and pianist Miguel de la Cerna. If you haven’t yet checked out Coda’s classy new Willy Street space, this is the show to see.
