press release: The Wisconsin Dells Visitor and Convention Bureau will once again welcome craft brewers and beer aficionados from across the country, as the city hosts the annual “Dells on Tap” weekend of events. The main event on Saturday, October 15, will feature more than 65 craft brewers and 200 beers, including Lakefront Brewery (Wisconsin), Bells Brewery (Michigan), Dogfish Head (Delaware), Surly Brewing Co (Minnesota) and Toppling Goliath (Iowa) to name a few.
One of Wisconsin’s most popular craft beer festivals, offering beer enthusiasts the chance to sample a wide variety of seasonal, small batch and artisanal brews – and speak to the master brewers who created them! (General admission tickets are $50 in advance and $65 day of the event. VIP tickets are $75 in advance and $90 day-of. VIP admission includes early entry at Noon, a VIP tasting glass, pretzel necklace and light snacks. Must be 21 or older.) Additional on-site activities include mini golf, cornhole tournament and beer pong tournament held pre-event and Beards & Brews – a mustache and beard competition that’s free to enter.
Craft Beer Walk on October 14
On Friday, October 14, downtown Wisconsin Dells will host a craft beer walk from 5-9 p.m. Participants can sample a variety of artisan brews, tap specials and food at participating bars. General admission tickets (which includes a tasting glass) are $25 in advance and $35 the day of the event. Must be 21 or older. Register at Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau, 701 Superior Street, Wisconsin Dells from 9 a.m. - 7p.m.
