The Deltones

Inspired by Hank Williams Sr. and Leon Russell, The Deltones draw from the timeless “high lonesome” sound of American folk music. Their music combines classic country and roots influences with old-time favorites and an eclectic mix of songs from across genres.

At the heart of The Deltones is a love of music and the enjoyment of sharing familiar songs with audiences. Their performance offers an opportunity for longtime roots-music fans and new listeners alike to connect with the enduring sounds of American music.

Idledaze Trio

Idledaze Trio is an award-winning Madison-based group bringing together classic rock, blues, and old-school country influences with a contemporary sound. The trio combines male and female vocals, electric guitar, keys, and percussion to create a performance that balances familiar music with fresh energy.

The group's musical roots can be found in the work of the trio’s founder, Idledaze, an award-winning vocalist and composer.

Idledaze himself has spent years developing his musical abilities and unique sound through original songwriting, recording, production, as well as collaboration with other artists. Idledaze Trio released its debut EP in 2025, continuing the group's exploration of classic and contemporary musical influences and has played numerous shows and festivals in the US as well as Europe.

“Madison has a vibrant music community, and we believe artists need a stage where they can express themselves, share their work, and create meaningful connections with audiences. MYArts is now providing that stage opportunity through our Blackbox Bandstand series. We want to connect artists and give them opportunities to share their work and inspirations, while inspiring others to discover and experience the arts.” said Svetlin Borisov, executive director of MYArts.
