press release: Edgewood College is pleased to welcome Doug Bradley and Craig Werner to a public event discussing their bestseller We Gotta Get Out of This Place: The Soundtrack of the Vietnam War.
Selected as Rolling Stone’s #1 Best Music Book of 2015, the work explores how and why a diverse array of U.S. troops turned to music as a way of coping with the complexities of the war they had been sent to fight.
The discussion takes place from 5:30 – 7:00 pm, Thursday, April 7, 2016, in Anderson Auditorium. Greater Madison is invited, and there is no admission fee.
