Elvehjem Neighborhood Garage Sales

media release: When budgets get tight, finding deals is an essential component of alleviating some of that budgetary stress, and a great way to do that and help out in your own community is hitting the annual garage sales.

Elvehjem will once again be having a unified garage sale weekend on June 18 through the 20 where dozens of houses throughout the neighborhood will be hosting simultaneous garage sales. 

This is a wonderful time to pick up lightly used children's clothes, books, small appliances, furnishings, and all sorts of other unexpected treasures. It's a great way to get something you need and help out a neighbor with a little extra cash.

You can also make a day of it on Saturday, June 20! Twisted Grounds café (6067 Gemini Dr) is hosting their own yard sale event that day starting at 8am, with vendors, live music, permanent jewelry, face painting, and more running through 2:30pm. Swing by for coffee before you hit the neighborhood sales, then loop back for the afternoon festivities.
