media release:
Rising singer/songwriter Evan Honer released today his new EP Different Life through Cloverdale Records. A busy and prolific year for the Nashville-based artist, Different Life arrives on the heels of his sophomore album Fighting For released this summer and features four brand new originals. Among them is his latest single “Scared To Love Again,” which Whiskey Riff called “an emotional tune” and raved “At such a young age, Honer seems to have an innate ability to evoke emotions in a listener through his lyricism in a way that very few artists are able to master.” Stream or Purchase Different Life EP HERE
Honer is currently in the midst of the second leg of his Nowhere Fast Tour across the US. Several dates have already sold out while others have been upgraded to larger venues due to high demand. For the full list of shows visit www.evanhoner.com/tour.
Last month, Honer shared a reimagined version of his song “Fighting For” featuring a stunning duet with breakout country star Hailey Whitters, prompting Country Central to rave “the collaboration works perfect.” Honer also made his official debut at the Grand Ole Opry performing songs from his new album. He sat down with WSM’s “Coffee, Country, and Cody” just hours before the show to chat about the new album, his path to the Opry, trying out for the Olympics, and more.
Available everywhere through Cloverdale Records, Fighting For follows the breakout success of Honer’s 2023 debut West on I-10. He has since earned a staggering 300 million streams worldwide with over 3.3 million monthly listeners, sold-out tours across the US and Europe, and millions of followers across his socials. Fighting For captures Honer’s whirlwind breakout success over the past year as well as all the excitement, challenges, and stresses that come along with it. Highlights include the “striking acoustic offering” (Holler) “Take Me As I Come” featuring fellow rising star Wyatt Flores, the vulnerable “heart-wrencher” (Country Central) “Easier,” the “autobiographical inner reckoning” (Atwood Magazine) “Nowhere Fast,” and the title track “Fighting For,” which People Magazine exclaimed “proves his artistic worth.”
