United Way of Dane County is updating our community’s Academic Success Mobilization Plan. This plan represents research from subject matter expert volunteers from the Academic Success team lead by Superintendent Jen Cheatham on the best strategies for achieving the plan’s goal: Students succeed academically and graduate high school, prepared for higher education, career and community. Please join us as we celebrate the launch with speakers, panelists and presentations including:
- Dr. Jennifer Cheatham, Superintendent at Madison Metropolitan School District
- Renee Moe, President and CEO of United Way of Dane County
- Community Panel Featuring:
- Dr. Karen Menendez Coller – Executive Director, Centro Hispano
- Michael Hernandez – Principal, Madison East High School
- Anthony Johnson – United Way Volunteer
- Alondra Quechol – Student, Madison College
- Dr. Annalee Good – Researcher, Wisconsin Center for Educational Research, University of Wisconsin-Madison
- Theater Performance by the Middleton High School Social Justice Forum
