The Speakers:
Rachel F. Brenner is a Max and Frieda Weinstein-Bascom Professor of Jewish Studies and the author of The Ethics of Witnessing: the Holocaust in Polish Writers' Diaries from Warsaw, 1939-1945 (Northwestern University Press, 2014).
David S. Danaher is a Professor of Slavic Languages and Literature and the author of Reading Václav Havel (Toronto University Press, 2015).
Halina Filipowicz is a Professor of Slavic Languages and Literature and author of Taking Liberties: Gender, Transgressive Patriotism, and Polish Drama, 1786-1989 (Ohio University Press, 2015).
