Family Relocation Fundraiser

media release: Everything raised at this auction goes directly to the family to support housing, groceries, transportation, medical costs, and legal expenses during the long months before they can legally work. We're all volunteers, with no staff and no overhead, so what you spend tonight becomes bills paid and a refrigerator filled. We're grateful to every neighbor, congregation, and local business who donated items, and to everyone who has shown up over these months to make "welcome" mean something concrete. Thank you for being part of it. Find the auction here: https://www.32auctions.com/madison-neighbors

Family Relocation isn't an agency or a nonprofit, we are a network of neighbors. We came together from across Madison/Dane Co., around a family who arrived here looking for safety and an opportunity to build a new life. Alongside Midvale Community Lutheran Church, we've built the kind of support a family needs when they arrive with almost nothing and without access to the work authorization, bank accounts, and social safety nets most of us take for granted: a place to live, food on the table, rides to appointments, help navigating healthcare and the legal processes, and the plain human company of people who know their names. What no single person could carry alone a few dozen neighbors can carry together.
