Miss Julie is one of Strindberg's early, "Naturalistic" plays. Set against the backdrop of the Midsummer Eve holiday, the drama explores the intersection of class, power and sex.

Moving to a free, public access model allows Fermat’s to better fulfill our mission to develop a new and diverse audience for theater committed to social change. It also frees us to choose the work we stage without thinking how many tickets we can sell.
Miss Julie is a dark and complex exploration of class, sex and power. Come to the theater, take a program and find a seat - no tickets or money required.
Performances are in the Fredric March Play Circle Theater in the UW Memorial Union. Opening night is Thurs July 30 at 7:30 PM with shows Fri July 31 and Sat August 1 also at 7:30 and a Sunday, August 2 matinee at 2 PM. The following Fri August 7 and Sat August 8 shows will be at 7:30 PM. A second matinee has been added for Sunday, Aug. 9.
