press release: Join us for another fun filled Final Friday in the Garden! From 4-8 p.m. on July 29, 2016 there will be hands-on activities and entertainment for all ages to enjoy. Bring a picnic dinner to the Garden after a long workweek and enjoy the Garden! Country singer Teddy Davenport will be supplying musical entertainment from 5-7 p.m., One-OneThousand will be back with a drop-in Shibori Dyeing Sampler, be sure to ride your bike to the garden for a free safety checkup from The BikeMobile, help spice up the Garden with wind chime making, take a shot at infusing your own water, make friendship bracelets and take silly pictures at the Photo Booth station for the chance to win a $25 Amazon giftcard. We can’t wait to see you there!

One-OneThousand: Shibori Dyeing: Drop by to play with making pretty blue things in indigo and get a taste of all that's possible with the art of shibori textile dyeing. This is not the full creative workshop that One-OneThousand runs on shibori dyeing, but you'll get a chance to see what shibori is all about and take home your own small piece of dyed fabric.
The BikeMobile: Be sure to ride your bike to the Garden and receive a free safety checkup from The BikeMobile.
Teddy Davenport: Enjoy new, old and original country and music by the talented Teddy Davenport from 5-7 p.m.
Infuse Your Own Water: Try spicing up your water by adding a few herbs from our Edible Garden to your drink!
Photo Booth: Dress up in the costumes and props, take some creative pictures and post them on Instagram for the chance to win a $25 Amazon giftcard! Be sure to use #allencentennialgarden to be in the running for the prize.
Friendship Bracelet Making: Kick back in the English Garden and enjoy some peaceful friendship bracelet making. Maybe you’ll even make a few new friends!
Wind Chime Making: Help add some music to the Garden by adding your personal touch to wind chimes that will be placed throughout the Garden.
