press release: Madison Metropolitan School District continues offering curbside meal service at school sites for all children 18 years of age and younger. Beginning Monday, February 1, our Market Boxes will now contain 7 days of breakfast and lunch meals. Families may either refrigerate or freeze any portion of the meal components in the boxes to provide flexibility for households. Fresh produce will be packaged separately from the Market Boxes and milk will continue to be optional. Each 7 day box is about 12"X 9"X 9" in size and weighs just under 10 pounds.
Families are no longer required to pre-order their meal boxes. We currently have enough production history to be able to forecast the required number of meal boxes needed for each daily route. However, if you are a new group and going to pick up a large number of meal boxes (10+), please contact Dustin Lundt at (608) 204-4008. Dustin will make arrangements to have meal boxes available on a specific route and day for you.
