Celebrate the Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy’s 20th birthday with guided walks, history of the Indian mounds, a picnic and more, followed by music at Capital Brewery (4-7pm).

Orchid Heights Park, Middleton
2015 is our 20th Anniversary as a non-profit. On June 27th we are planning a whole day of events to celebrate the Friends. This day of celebration is free and open to both Members & the Public.
7am – 9am – Guided Bird Walk by Mike McDowell, (sponsored by Wild Birds Unlimited)
8am – 10am – Prairie Chase Run/Walk event -- see www.prairiechase.com for more info
11am – 12pm – Family Friendly Activities including face painting, origami and “Snakes!”:
Our Family Friendly Hour before lunch at Orchid Heights Park includes: meet a crane; face painting, tug-of-war, origami, photo and educational displays; and don't miss the Madison Area Herpetological Society's 45 minute presentation about the diversity of snakes! See them, touch them and learn - and stop by the informational table afterwards with your questions about reptiles.
12pm – 1pm – Picnic Lunch – with Live Music by Bluegrass Tea & Company (sandwiches available for purchase)
1pm – 2:30pm – Three Different Guided Walks by Experts in their Field:
