The theme is vintage tea party, so come in your best tea attire, and don’t forget your big hats. The event will be held in the Atrium of Oblrich Botanical Gardens at 3330 Atwood Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin.
Val Madsen, Executive Director of Gio’s Garden said, “We are very excited to see this first-time event come together. It really says a lot about the people who support our organization, knowing that they are so willing to bring an idea to reality to help out our kiddos and their families.”
Purchase your tickets today at gardenteaparty.eventbrite.com or call Val at 608.833.4467 ext. 2. Gio’s Garden mission as a nonprofit organization is to nurture and strengthen families with children with special needs, birth through 6 years, by increasing their access to needed services. 24 hours of care a month, or 6 hours per week of therapeutic respite are provided at little to no cost to children and their families. In 2015, Gio’s Garden provided over 5,600 hours of therapeutic respite care to 59 different children. Because of generous donors and fundraising events, we were able to subsidize the full fee for 97% of children.
