press release:

Registration Deadline: March 15
Butterflies, bees, and many other pollinators provide critical ecosystem services by pollinating both food crops and wildflowers alike. Unfortunately, these creatures are threatened by a variety of human impacts. Frank Hassler from Good Oak Ecological Services will discuss what you can do to make your yard a haven for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and the many other "little things that run the world." If weather permits, we will take a stroll through Olbrich's outdoor gardens to see some of the plants highlighted in the presentation. Registration is required by March 15. $15 general public/$12 Olbrich members. For more information or to register, call 608-246-4550 or visit www.olbrich.org.
