Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner
media release: The Chamber's 72nd Annual Dinner is coming to Monona Terrace on Oct. 21!
This is Greater Madison's largest business event — the Chamber's most impactful program of the year. We look forward to welcoming you for an evening of high-quality entertainment and networking, with state-of-the-art staging and production and a world-class keynote speaker.
Our region's success requires us to make difficult decisions. So we recruited a keynote speaker who understands how those decisions are made.
Daryl Fairweather is the chief economist at the real estate and technology company Redfin. She was previously a senior economist at Amazon studying employee engagement, satisfaction and attrition. During the 2008 housing crisis, she worked as a researcher at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston studying why homeowners entered foreclosure.
Fairweather's insights have been featured in “60 Minutes,” “CBS Evening News,” The New York Times and The Washington Post. Her 2025 book “Hate the Game: Economic Cheat Codes for Life, Love, and Work” offers real-world application of economic insights to solve some of the most common dilemmas in life and business.
You can purchase "Hate the Game" from our partners at Lake City Books. Use the promotional code COMMERCE to get 10% off now through the end of November.
At Annual Dinner, Fairweather will share how we can leverage what we already know to make choices from which everyone can benefit.
