Grief and the Holidays
Verona Library 500 Silent St., Verona, Wisconsin 53593
Holiday and other annual celebrations are filled with traditions, rituals and customs. But for those who are grieving, each celebration can be a painful reminder of how their life has been changed forever. Jennifer Tiedemann, with community relations at Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care, will share coping skills in this program at the Verona Public Library on Tuesday,
October 20, from 7 to 8 p.m.
Tiedemann will teach ways to cope with grief when others are celebrating. Participants will learn how to have appropriate expectations of grief, identify personal triggers for their grief, and how to create comforting new traditions and rituals.
This program is free and open to the public. To register, or for information, visit www.veronapubliclibrary.org, or call 608-845-7180. The Verona Public Library is located at 500 Silent Street.
