Growing a Peaceful Youth Future

Sat. May 2nd 1:00 – 4:00 pm UW Space at Villager Mall (2312 S. Park St.)  Growing a Peaceful Youth Future Film Festival!  Join Wisconsin Network for Peace and Justice (WNPJ) for an event featuring videos made by youth from across the state of WI.  These are short films that have been created to show what students would do for their community with $1 trillion rather than it all being spent on the annual military budget.  Come and vote for the Peoples' Choice Award!  Expect to see some very creative and thought-provoking videos, see the winners get their scholarships of $1000, $500, and $250, come walk the red carpet and get a photograph taken, hear some spoken word poetry, and enjoy good local food. There will also be a seed exchange so please feel free to bring flower or vegetable seeds to share with other attendees.  Free event, but we encourage donations to support the youth scholarships.  Info?  www.wnpj.org
