Happy Hour for Happy Birthdays

press release: Nitty Gritty in Sun Prairie has recently partnered with Box of Balloons to host the organization’s quarterly “Happy Hour for Happy Birthdays” networking and fundraising event. The Nitty Gritty has generously donated 2 draft beers, soda and a variety of their famous appetizers, including mini Gritty Burgers for each person that purchases a ticket.  Happy Hour for Happy Birthdays will be held at the Nitty Gritty in Sun Prairie on August 11 from 5:30-7:00  Tickets can be purchased through Box of Balloons’ website for $20. The generosity of Nitty Gritty has allowed for 100% of the ticket proceeds to go directly to Box of Balloons.

We are thankful that they believe so much in our mission that they have donated everything for this event so that we can use the funds generated to give more children in need the opportunity to be celebrated on their special day,” said Nicole Moll, Box of Balloons founder.

Box of Balloons is a non-profit organization that began in Sun Prairie in November 2013 with the mission to make every birthday happy and every child celebrated by giving children in need a birthday party in a box. Since then the organization has grown to 14 chapters in 7 states. Every chapter has a team of volunteers, donors and business partners that work together to ensure children in need have the chance to be celebrated and have a day filled with joy and love.
