press release: Open House and Dedication Ceremony for Healing House

Please join Madison-area Urban Ministry on Saturday, May 4, from 11 am-1 pm as we dedicate Healing House in memory of and in celebration of the life of Timothy Scott Pfeifer, and in recognition of the many contributions to our community of Timothy's parents, Chuck and Jean Pfeifer. Chuck was MUM's director for our first 25 years. Chuck, Jean and their daughter Rebecca will be at Healing House for the dedication. The Pfeifer family helped launch our Healing House Capital Campaign through a generous matching gift with funds from Timothy's estate.

The Healing House renovations will be completed on May 1 and we would love to have you tour the house before families move in. The formal dedication and blessing of the House will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4. Joining us will be Rev. Janice Tolliver from Christ The Solid Rock to offer a blessing, the Pfeifer family, our partner agencies The Road Home and Operation Fresh Start. We hope you can stop by to see the house and to meet our partners and some of our new Healing House staff.
