Hold the Line on Fossil Fuel

Sat. Dec. 12th 3:00 pm State St. Steps – State Capitol.  Hold the Line on Fossil Fuel - HoldRally for Climate Justice!  The nations of the world are gathering in Paris to discuss international action on climate change. While a binding climate agreement from the world governments would help put us on the right track, we at 350 Madison believe that the people hold the power to shape our future. As the talks in Paris conclude, we will rally on the steps of the Capitol to remind our leaders, our fellow citizens, and ourselves of that power. Spencer Black and Madeleine Para will update us on the results of the conference and we will hear from local leaders about the battles going on right here in Dane County, Wisconsin.  There will even be a skit about how the power of active citizens stopped the Keystone XL pipeline!  It is important that we as concerned citizens stand together in the face of fossil fuels. Regardless of the decisions in Paris, we must continue to fight for our future and that of our posterity.
