These are the days to care for one another. To find our neighbors – the men and women, children, teens and families who are our most vulnerable community members. And to protect them, in the cold spring time and all the year around.
608 Arts presents Homeless Not Hopeless, Opening March 31 and on display through April 16. This is a consideration of how those with secure shelter and running water can confront misunderstandings and prejudices. This a story of endurance and of empowerment. This is building of alliances – as we All Stand against oppression the time is NOW to reach out to each other, to arm and protect ourselves with caring and solidarity. From the street to the benches outside the capital.
608 Arts is a collective of mixed media and performing artists creating exhibits and events around themes of justice, equity and accessibility. All 608 Arts exhibits are free-will fund raisers for direct-service organizations. This show benefits the Tenant Resource Center.
