Robert Grow, President and CEO of Envision Utah, will share his experience forging agreement across the Salt Lake City region for the Quality Growth Strategy in this special forum for public officials in the greater Madison region.

The Quality Growth Strategy is generating real results. Regional transportation investments are reducing roadway congestion and getting people where they need to go on time. Development focused along transportation and transit corridors is estimated to save taxpayers $4.5 billion in infrastructure costs compared to other growth options. Lands vital to their environment and rural heritage are being preserved. How did such success happen? Envision Utah brought tens of thousands of Utahns together to form a shared vision that serves Utahns’ values. Mr. Grow and Envision Utah have worked with regions across the country to apply the lessons from Utah and elsewhere.

Over the last couple of decades, Grow has developed an expertise in facilitating regional stakeholders in creating multi-generational visions for major metropolitan areas of the United States and has worked with more than 80 metropolitan regions.
