Indigenous Heritage Celebration

media release: Join us for a FREE celebration with our Indigenous community, featuring food, music, art, and dance representing Indigenous traditions across the world. Featured guest Evan "Blue Sky" Logan, a tribal Bear/Thunder (Warrior) clan member of the Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin, and his group will share storytelling and traditional songs. Featured guest Shaya Schreiber, a member of the Marten Falls Band of Ojibwe, a First Nation community in Ontario, Canada, will lead an Indigenous stamp and printmaking activity in the Art Studio. Mama Krissy's will provide samples of frybread, a traditional Native American food.
