Jachin Jordan Golf Outing
Maple Bluff Country Club 500 Kensington Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53704
Press release:
The 8th Annual Jachin Jordan Golf Outing will be held on Monday, June 15, at Maple Bluff Country Club, 500 Kensington Drive in Madison; shotgun starts are at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Registration is open to the public and is now available online at JAKEjordanfoundation.com. Participants may register as individual golfers or as foursomes and may also consider offering their support through sponsorship opportunities and prize donations. Proceeds will benefit the Sturge-Weber Foundation and will help Make-A-Wish Wisconsin grant the wishes of local children.
The cost is $175 per single player or $600 per foursome. Fees include 18 scenic holes of golf, cart, lunch and awards in a variety of categories for both ladies and men. Golfers will also enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres after golf, raffles and silent auctions, a free family party after the event, appearances by local wish kids, the ever-popular "helicopter ball drop" and more. Sponsorship packages for the event range from $250 to $1,000 and feature a number of benefits.
Seven-year-old Jachin Jordan of Waunakee is living with Sturge-Weber Syndrome and received his Disney Cruise Line wish in March 2013. He and his family now hope to "pay it forward" through the proceeds of this special event. "We're honored to benefit from Jake's golf outing again this year," said Nicole Williams, Madison Regional Director for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin. "The Jordan family is so caring, and we hope the community shows their support in a great way."
