media release: Chris Fox (aka DJ Jean Le Duke) has been DJing in Madison for years, and has amassed a collection of 45s that’ll make your head spin.

Every Friday night we bring a little funk and soul to the Northside of Madison with some of Madison’s best DJs throwing down everything from James Brown to Curtis Mayfield, Otis Redding, Sly & the Family Stone and a whole lot more. For this edition, Jean Le Duke will take you on a tour of original funk and soul tunes tunes used as samples in popular hip-hop and r&b songs! Come early for Chuck Money’s weekly “Melting Pot” from 5-8pm and stick around to get funky with us on the Northside from 9pm until Midnight. Kitchen always open until 12am!

Every Monday we showcase some of Madison’s finest DJs playing nothing but the music of Motown, Stax, and other classics from the Motown era. Expect everything from Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Smoky Robinson, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye and a lot of jams in between.
