Jerry Wicentowski (CD release)

press release: 'Thanks, Mac!' is the title of Jerry Wicentowski's new release on his Wizgrass label.The recording is Jerry's expression of gratitude to Mac Wiseman for the enjoyment, inspiration, and instruction Jerry has received through many years of intent listening to Mac's singing both in person and on record.

The February 2017 recording sessions took place in Nashville with significant help from Madison's own John Fabke. The side musicians included Wisconsin native Shad Cobb and Jennie Obert- fiddles, Jeremy Stephens- banjo, Marc MacGlashan- mandolin, Paul Kowert- string bass, and Joe Mullins- tenor vocals.

At the CD release concert at the Brinks Lounge, Jerry is pleased to feature the members of The Unrelated Brothers including his long-time singing partner Bruce King- mandolin, Bruce R. King- bass, Jon Peik- banjo, and Kathy Peik- fiddle.
