Dr. Jill Stein, the Green Party’s 2012 Presidential candidate now running for the party's 2016 nomination, will be in Madison on Friday April 15th and Saturday April 16th to appear at the Wisconsin Green Party’s Presidential Nominating Convention on the 16th.  

On Friday April 15th, Dr. Stein will arrive in Madison in the afternoon and be available for interviews until 7 PM. From 7-9 PM she will be at the Rigby Pub and Grill to meet with the public and speak about her campaign. Media are invited to cover the event.   

On Saturday April 16th, Dr. Stein will participate in the Wisconsin Green Party’s Presidential Nominating Convention from 10 AM to noon at UW Madison (Location TBA at Today in the Union). The convention will include a forum with all five candidates for the Green Presidential nomination invited to speak, as well as a question and answer session. Media are invited to cover the event.  

Dr. Stein will leave Madison shortly after Saturday’s forum ends, so in-person interviews should be arranged for Friday April 15th.
