The Art of it All

Steep & Brew Cafe Features Jordan Peschek, Local Artist

From September 1 through December 31, local Madison artist Jordan Peschek will be featured in the gallery at Steep & Brew located at 544 State Street.   Come grab a cup of coffee and delight in the visual art for sale.  Her works consist of a variety of pieces created with acrylic and permanent marker on canvas, primarily focused on local Madison scenery.   All proceeds will help Peschek’s education as a UW Nursing Student.

Why: Meet the artist and enjoy free coffee, wine and appetizers 

Jordan Peschek is a Nursing student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with passions 

for nutrition, health, wellness, and creativity in the arts and writing.  She is an ACE 

Certified Personal Trainer who promotes not only safe, successful workouts, but how to 

develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.  Peschek is also an editor for The Dish, UW's food and dining publication (thedishmadison.com).  Finally, she enjoys volunteering at the local hospital and senior home in hopes to help patients feel less like patients, and more like people.  That is also her goal as a future Registered Nurse. Art has helped Peschek to clear her head, challenge herself to recreate her love of Madison, and share her ideas visually with the college and community.  She hopes it will only continue to be spread.
