media release: Bringing the best talent available for FREE summer concerts to the tiny Sauk County hamlet of Witwen, Wisconsin we are very pleased to announce a special SUNDAY EVENING concert with renowned German gypsy swing guitarist, Joscho Stephan with special guests Harmonious Wail. SUNDAY, June 29. Harmonious Wail will take the stage at 4:30 pm and the Joscho Stephan Trio will begin at 6:00 pm. Grounds and concessions will open at 2:30 pm for this special season-opening SUNDAY concert!

Joscho Stephan is a German jazz guitarist known for his exceptional skill in the gypsy jazz genre. He was born in Germany and became interested in jazz music at an early age, later specializing in the style made famous by the legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt. Stephan is celebrated for his virtuosic technique, improvisational abilities, and his deep understanding of the traditional gypsy jazz style.

His playing blends elements of swing, bebop, and classical music, making his approach to gypsy jazz unique. Stephan has performed extensively both as a solo artist and with various groups, and he has also recorded multiple albums, showcasing his contributions to the genre.
