press release: Join Wisconsin DNR Wildlife Health Conservation experts and learn what to do when you find an abandoned or seemingly abandoned animal. A wild animal may look abandoned sitting alone in a field however, most times their wild parent is nearby, out of sight, anxiously waiting for you to leave the area so she can attend to her young. What should you look for to know if an animal is truly abandoned or is it’s mother out searching for food? Learn what to do with opossums or raccoons or other wildlife that have made your home or yard, theirs as well.  Through this interactive program we hope to answer all of your wildlife questions!
