media release: Khruangbin, the Houston, Texas trio who's known for their marriage of sounds from across the world - including reggae dub, surf-rock, Southeast Asian funk, and Middle Eastern soul - announce a run of 2022 tour dates in Boston, Philadelphia, Nashville, Washington D.C., and more with support from tenor saxophonist Nubya Garcia.
The atmospheric and eccentric group, which has been on countless global tours and graced nearly every major festival stage in the world, is a live force to be reckoned with. Continuing on their most monumental tour to date, tour dates in Madison, WI, St. Paul, MI, and Chicago, IL will serve as a precursor to the band’s debut headlining three-night performance at New York City’s iconic Radio City Music Hall on March 9th and 10th and the following dates in Nashville, Boston and more will tee the band up for their debut headlining performance at London’s Alexandra Palace in April 2022.

This year has seen the band play three sold-out nights at LA’s Greek Theatre, two sold-out nights at Colorado’s esteemed venue Red Rocks, and prestigious festival performances at Outside Lands, Firefly Festival, III Points, Newport Jazz Festival, and more. The band will return to Texas in December for a run of highly anticipated and very special shows in Dallas, San Antonio, and will play their hometown’s Houston’s 713 Music Hall on New Year’s Eve, a perfect finish to a new year of touring. Support for 2021 includes an impressive array of Khruangbin-curated artists including Nick Hakim, Aidan Kennedy & Kornbread.
Khruangbin made their national TV debut on Austin City Limits on Saturday, November 6th. Performing songs from their otherworldly discography, the band delivered a gorgeous chronological performance running through their 2014 EP, The Infamous Bill, fan favorites "People Everywhere (Still Alive)" & "White Gloves" from their debut album The Universe Smiles Upon You along with standouts from 2020's Mordechai.
