Kidlinks World non-profit is holding a fundraiser at the Capital Brewery - Sunday, July 26,  2pm - 5pm

Supporting Literacy in South Africa

 Kidlinks World is asking you to take a moment and think about what gifts you have that you can share as a silent auction to make this fundraiser a success, and or bid on other people’s contribution to raise money for the Ikhwili Primary School Library project in Kei Mouth, South Africa. The Kei Mouth, Ikhwili Library Project has been running since 2011 and is greatly appreciated by the children of Cwili Township. The teachers use the library in the morning and Maureen Balfour, a local Xhosa lady is employed by Kidlinks World to run the library three afternoons a week when school is in session.

Funds raised will:

help restock the library

provide book bags for the children to take home to encourage literacy

help pay Maureen Balfour’s stipend  to open the library three afternoons a week when school is in session ($110 per month) make needed repairs to the existing library
