Kids' Art Adventures ArtKit

press release: Wintry weather means time indoors, and what could be more fun than helping your children create works of art with a free MMoCA ArtKit? It’s all available through Kids’ Art Adventures, this Sunday starting at 1 PM in the MMoCA Lobby.

This week, the ArtKits will include a bonus item from the Fundred Dollar Bill Project, created by artist Mel Chin, who was inspired to create the project that would help illustrate the issue of lead poisoning, which affects thousands of kids each year nationwide.

Your kids can create an original work of art; hand-drawn interpretations of $100 bills that represent awareness, hope, and a collective voice calling for the health and safety of our children’s futures to be valued by eradicating lead poisoning. The Fundred Project will continue in January in The Shop at MMoCA, and the Fundred Dollar Bills that kids create will eventually be used in an artwork on display at MMoCA.
