Kids' Grief Support Group
Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care 5395 E. Cheryl Pkwy., Madison, Wisconsin 53711
In May, Agrace HospiceCare will offer three grief support opportunities that are open to the public and provided without charge. The sessions are held at Agrace, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison. Agrace typically recommends waiting two to three months after a death before joining a grief support group, but “Bridges” may be helpful sooner.
Kids Grief Support Group
This five-week series is for elementary through high-school aged children who are grieving the death of a loved one. Children can find support and comfort through meeting other children their age who have experienced a similar loss. In addition to receiving grief support, the adult group discusses concepts specific to children coping with grief, and the children participate in a variety of activities and projects.
May 7 – June 4 (Thursdays), 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Call Jessie Shiveler to register at (608) 327-7135.
