La Rosa Noir
Chicago band La Rosa Noir’s 2023 debut album, Arellano, covers a lot of ground, from the amiable indie rock of “Lavender Warm” to country stomp of “New Gods” to the mini-symphony of styles contained by “I’d Take You.” It’s a remarkably accomplished and confident collection, and it should be a treat to hear these songs live. With Commonwealth.
