“Lackin’ Some Direction is a tribute to The Grateful Dead based in Madison, WI.  Members are long time veterans of the Madison music scene. This band represents a culmination of many years of studying and playing the music of the Dead. We feel it’s important to carry on the tradition of their music in a way that’s less imitative and more interpretive. Our hope is that the fans of the Dead, who are known for their intimate knowledge of the material, will appreciate our take on what we feel is one of the best musical playgrounds ever.”
