LEGO Art: Building Robots

press release: Join us for LEGO robot building, inspired by internationally-known LEGO artist Sean Kenney. We will provide a copy of Kenney's book, Building Amazing Creations, to view his robot creations for inspiration. While many of his sculptures are large and extremely complex, his robot creations are accessible for children to draw ideas from or even recreate with common LEGO pieces. All LEGOS will be provided. Though they can't be taken home, we can create a photo gallery of everyone's creations! For those who would prefer drawing or coloring instead of building, there will also be LEGO coloring sheets provided and a transformer/robot drawing station. We will have many DUPLOS available for younger kiddos to build with, also. This is a CIRCLE Homeschool Learning Cooperative event, but anyone is welcome to join.
