media release: With fiddles in hand, MadFiddle celebrates its 13th season with a debut appearance at MYArts' Starlight Theater.  Drawing upon the traditional musics of Appalachia, Cape Breton, Norway, Scotland, Ireland and Sweden, MadFiddle features youth performers ranging in age from 7-17 jamming alongside the backing band Highway 151. Thriving on its mad enthusiasm for fiddle music, MadFiddle shows up with that blast of inherent joy that comes along with playing music with friends.
