University Hospital 600 Highland Ave., Madison, Wisconsin
press release:
The Madison Bead Society was formed in 1992 and was incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2001. Its mission is to provide a forum for the enjoyment and study of beads and related topics. Meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month (except in winter), alternating between eastside and westside locations. The meeting program usually consists of an instructor teaching a technique or discussing a bead-related topic, or members share projects.
This exhibit is on display in the University Hospital display cases, in the C5/2 Surgical Waiting area and in E5/2 near the gift shop.
