media release: The Capitols enter the weekend with a six-game point streak. Following Friday's road game at Green Bay, Madison starts a six-game home stand with games on Saturday and Sunday.
About Last Weekend
With two home games, Madison was able to collect three points against Chicago and Dubuque. Friday, the Capitols climbed out of a three-goal deficit to force overtime where the Steel grabbed victory. Saturday, Madison was able to hold on to take down Dubuque 4-3.
Ticketing and Promos
Saturday night is Madison's annual Mitten Toss presented by Alliant Energy. Fans will be encouraged to throw mittens and gloves to donate to United Way onto the ice during intermission. Then, on Sunday afternoon, it's the team's first ever Sensory Day. If the lights and sounds of our normal games are overwhelming for certain spectators, the team is encouraging them to come on Sunday. With no light show, no horn, and lower leveled music and announcements, it will look completely different from a normal Capitols game. Tickets are still available at tickets.madcapshockey.com.
Broadcast Information
All games this weekend will be broadcast live on FloHockey along with audio coverage on Caps Radio. The play-by-play commentator will be Drew Steele. Pregame coverage is scheduled to start at 6:45 pm on Friday and Saturday night and 2:45 pm on Sunday.
